Herb Crusted Broiled Salmon

Broiled Salmon

Incorporating fish can be difficult for some of us, me included. Even if you aren’t really a fish person, I highly suggest giving this salmon recipe a try.

This is a super simple recipe that can be made in 15 minutes and is delicious. It can be paired with anything you would like: rice, pasta, or veggies.

Ingredients:

– Salmon filet

– 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon pepper

– 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

– 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Directions:

1. Heat oven broiler.

2. On a baking sheet, brush a bit of oil where you will place the salmon. Arrange salmon skin side down on top of the oil.

3. Stir together the spice mixture and sprinkle over the salmon fillets.

4. Broil for 8-10 minutes, depending on the thickness of your salmon.

5. Fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
